Law is one of the career-oriented courses after 12th. It is a hard-working and sincere field. The students of any stream Science/Commerce/Arts who wish to qualified for Law Education have to appear in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Through this entrance test students are admitted in Integrated L.L.B and L.L.M courses.
Degrees of legal education in India are- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)-3 years, Integrated UG degrees- B.A. LL.B., B.Sc. LL.B., BBA LLB, B.Com LL.B – 5 years, Masters of Laws (LL.M)- ½ years and Master of Business Law. A fresher may have to work under the lawyer or reputed legal firm in the initial phase of his career.
A student can achieve the designation of-
Legal Advisor, Judge, Government Lawyer, Criminal Lawyer, Civil Litigation Lawyer, Document Drafting Lawyer and Legal Analyst.
