Tripura NEET Counselling 2019 Procedure & Important Dates

Tripura NEET 2019 Seat Allotment Result has been released for all candidates. The counseling has been started on 25th June 2019. The Preliminary Merit List has been released. The state counseling will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Health & Family Welfare Government of Tripura. The counseling is conducted for offering MBBS and BDS Bachelor degree courses in Tripura state. The scorecard of NEET-UG will be accepted by the various government and private medical and dental institutions of the state.

The counseling venue, date and time will be displayed along with the notification of NEET 2019 counseling on the concerned website. The counseling will take place through online mode. It will be conducted in various rounds as per the availability of vacant seats after each round of the counseling.

Candidates have to fill the application form which will be attached with the information brochure. Candidates can check the merit list from the website to appear in the counseling. It will contain the names of the candidates those will be eligible and selected for the counseling. Candidates must present in person at the counseling venue in the given date and time.

Selection & Admission Procedure

• First of all, candidates have to fill the application form. In the application form, candidates have to fill the personal and educational details.
• After accepting the application forms from the candidates, the authority will invite the candidates for the counseling as per their ranks.
• In the first round of counseling, candidates have to present in person in the notified date and time along with the required documents.
• Candidates have to fill the choices for colleges and pay the counseling fee. The document verification process will also take place at that time.
• On the basis of choices filled by the candidates and their ranks obtained in the NEET exam, they will be allotted with the seats.
• Candidates can report to the assigned college with the provisional admission letter.
• Candidates are advised to get admission before the deadline given by the authority for the admission.

Reservation Criteria

The reservation policy as per the Government of Tripura for various categories is different. Candidates can check below the reservation policy for various categories in the state medical colleges of Tripura which are as follows:

• General Category – 50%
• OBC – 27%
• SC – 15%
• ST – 7%
