In the academic year 2001-02, the Thakur College of Engineering & Technology (TCET) was established with a clear objective of providing quality technical education in accordance with international standards and contemporary global requirements. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Govt. of Maharashtra and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai (UOM). All of the U.G. courses eligible for 2011 accreditation, i.e. NBA has accredited Electronics & Telecommunications (EXTC), IT and Computer Engineering (CMPN).

Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal’s (SVKM) Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering (DJSCE), was established in the year 1994. The college runs 8 undergraduate programmes, 3 post graduate programmes and 3 Ph. D courses, affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
