Zhengzhou University (ZZU in short) is admitted into Project 211, the Midwest Universities Comprehensive Strength Promotion Project, and the Joint Constructive Project co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Henan Province. Medical education of ZZU dates back to National Fifth Sun Zhongshan University built in 1928(the predecessor of National Henan University founded in 1942). This national university moved into Zhengzhou in 1952 and established Henan Medical College (the first batch authorized to confer doctoral degrees) which was the forerunner of the higher medical education in Henan province. The precedent Zhengzhou University, the first comprehensive university established by the State in 1956, was admitted into Project 211 in 1996.

Yangzhou University is a university in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. It grew out of a merger in 1992 of six existing colleges. The school has around 2,000 faculty and 31,000 undergraduates. It offers 92 undergraduate programs covering 11 disciplines. The programs and research include humanity, science, business, engineering, architecture, computer, medicine, art, music, agriculture, animal husbandry, etc. Around 2,000 faculty members work on campus, including around 1000 professors and associate professors. 97 faculty members are entitled to State Fund for Specialists, 29 are entitled as Outstanding Contribution-making Young Experts by the government. At undergraduate level, the university has over 16,000 adult students in its continued education programs. Undergraduate programs are also available for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Students from foreign countries can be seen in this program as well. At the graduate level, around 3800 graduate students are studying in 21 doctoral and 122 master's programs, in which around 748 faculties are involved as doctoral and master's program supervisors. YZU has one national key laboratory, 14 ministerial and provincial key laboratories, and 37 teaching laboratory centers.

Xuzhou Medical University, founded in 1958, is an institution of high education under the direct administration of Jiangsu Provincial Government. After more than fifty years development, XZMU has now become the center of medical education, medical service and medical research in the north of Jiangsu Province as well as Huaihai Economic Zone which consists of the combined parts of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhwei. The university has four campuses, covering an area of over 80 hectares. It consists of 19 departments and 14 affiliated hospitals, and has a student body of more than 11,000, including students from Hong Kong, Taiwan and the overseas. Xi’an Jiaotong University is a national C9 League research university with a strong emphasis on engineering and technology, located in Xi’an, Shaanxi and China. It origins from Jiao Tong University, also spelled as Chiao Tung University, located in Shanghai founded in 1896 as Nanyang Public School. The original Jiaotong University was one of the top research universities in the nation. Their alumnus includes scholars like An Wang and Tsien Hsue-shen. In 1956, following the national strategy, the major portion of Jiao Tong University moved to Xi’an, Shaanxi and later became Xi’an Jiaotong University. The remaining portion in Shanghai later became Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Some alumni of the original Jiaotong University established the National Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan after the Chinese Civil War and the government of Republic of China’s relocation to Taiwan.

The KMC Teaching Hospital, located within the ring-road and just near the airport, is in a position of easy access. KMC is permanently affiliated to Kathmandu University and fully recognized by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the Sri Lanka Medical Council. Kathmandu Medical College has also been listed in the WHO's World Directory of Medical Schools - electronic format as from June 2001. KMC is also an Associate Member of the Network of Community Based Medical Schools that has its headquarters at Ghent in Belgium. KMC have two girls' hostel and one boy hostel for 128 students in rented building. Kathmandu Medical College has two spacious libraries- one for Basic Sciences and the other for Clinical Sciences. Wenzhou Medical University designated as a key university in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, is an institution of higher learning under the leadership of Zhejiang Provincial Government. Zhejiang Specialized Medical School established in Hangzhou in 1912, named Zhejiang Second Medical College at that time. In August 1958, part of Zhejiang Medical College was moved from Hangzhou to Wenzhou and began recruiting 5-year fulltime program students, hence the name Wenzhou Medical College. In 2013, the Chinese Ministry of Higher Education china upgraded WMC’s status to that of a medical university; it has thus been renamed the Wenzhou Medical University. WMU is composed of three campuses, located respectively at Chashan, Xueyuan Road and Xiushan. Chashan is the main campus of WMU. These covering an area of about 800,000 ㎡ with a floor space of 500,000㎡. WMU have 9 Affiliated Hospital.
