Academy institution has gained status in 1920, which was returned in 1994.41 clinical departments are located at bases 58 medical institutions . On clinical bases Academy organized 29 specialized centers.The Academy covers an area of 85 hectares. It has 8 academic buildings with total area of 52,000 square meters, which is located 608 classrooms, offices and laboratories. In 7 dormitories area of 46,000 sq.m. 2849 students and resident physicians cadets. The Academy has a sports complex , vivarium, a sanatorium ,sports camp , academic library Technocentre and two museums.
