To fulfil the above aims and objects, numbers of educational Institutions have been established in Kancheepuram district. On the same lines Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital with 300 beds was established in the year 2007 as prerequisite for establishment of a Medical College. The Medical College in the name and style of Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital & Research Institute was established in the year 2009 at Chikkarayapuram, Near Mangadu, Chennai – 69.This Institution is a non profit self financing Medical College under the category of linguistic Minority . This Medical College is affiliated to The TN Dr.MGR Medical University,Chennai. This Medical College has been approved by the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare , New Delhi for admission of 150 students from the academic year 2010-11 vide letter no.F.NO.U 12012/822/2008 – ME ( P – II ) dated 14 th May 2010.
The Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences is Set in the backdrop of the western ghats.
The Padanilam Werlfare Trust complex consists of nursing college,dental college and a medical college. It was Founded in 1998.
The Medical College Hospital is 550 bedded and boasts of the state of art facilities. The medical college,has as annual intake of 100 students for mbbs. If offers post graduate courses in all the clinical and non-clinical subjects.
There are seperate boarding and lodging facilities for boys and girls.
The institute is known for its discipline within the short period of starting the MBBS courses, the Sree Mookambika Medical College has carved for itself in the field of medical education and has produced some of the best students. It is not any words when the teaching and training are meanned by some of the best teachers in the field of medical education.

On 25th January 1926, a Trust under the name of ‘P.S.GOVINDASWAMY NAIDU & SONS’; came into being to cater to the growing needs of education and industry. Coimbatore opened a new chapter in its history.
To understand the genesis, growth and objectives of the trust, it is necessary to travel back in time and visualize the social, educational and economic scenario of India in general and city of Coimbatore in particular.
Illiteracy and poverty afflicted the people, while lack of resources and organized services imposed constraints on the government.

The city of Coimbatore, as it exists today with all its industrial and educational houses of excellence, could not even have been dreamt of. The entrepreneurs were yet to arrive while education was meant only for an exclusive few,With these being the circumstances, the trust was established and it became the harbinger of education and industrialization in the Coimbatore region.
It needed a benign and active mix of sympathy, daringness, generosity and selflessness to even think of bringing in changes in such a setting. The four sons of Shri PS Govindaswamy Naidu whose initials the trust bears, had all this in themselves and through their tireless efforts brought forth the trust. They, Shri PSG Venkataswamy Naidu, Shri PSG Rangaswamy Naidu, Shri PSG Ganga Naidu, Shri PSG Narayanaswamy Naidu, the four sons of Shri PS Govindaswamy Naidu, went about setting up the trust in a unique and inimitable fashion. They adopted Charity as their fifth brother and divided their ancestral wealth into, not 4 equal portions, but 5, the fifth one earmarked exclusively for Charity.
They realized that illiteracy caused stagnation, insulating the people from the progressive changes taking place all around and left them poor and uninformed; and hence it was at the root of all the ills of society. Their generous and leadership qualities surged ahead to the fore with this clear sense of understanding of the prevailing malady and its cause. And so, they struck back at illiteracy with a missionary zeal and made education as their primary trust area. The zeal of idealism continued and many institutions were born in succession in various disciplines.
Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was established on 2008. The Hospital attached to the College is being run from the year 1986, providing health care services to the surrounding villages for more than 30 years. People belonging to the poor socio economic group of the nearby 750 villages including agricultural labourers are getting various health care services from our Hospital.
The Institute is situated in Melmaruvathur near National Highway (NH-45), about 92 km from Chennai and about 70 km before Pondicherry. Since the Hospital is located in the middle, between Chennai and Pondicherry, various nearby towns are benefitted from our Institute. The Institute is managed by Adhiparasakthi Charitabale Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust, Melmaruvathur,Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, India.
The Institute has slowly developed from a primary care into Tertiary care provider rendering all health care services including primary, secondary and tertiary care to the society. The hospital has various clinical specialities providing Outpatient and Inpatient services in which, all the services and facilities are provided free of cost. The Hospital is equipped with 700 beds and an extensive area of residential campus for the staff and students.
Various departments like General Medicine, Chest and TB, Psychiatry, Dermatology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology, OBG, Radiology, Plastic Surgery,Nephrology, Urology, Neurology, Cardiology, Casualty, Blood Bank are available with well equipped, qualified persons and necessary infrastructure.
The department of Ophthalmology in addition to the routine and special procedures is conducting Mega Eye Camp every year for Cataract Surgery and other Ophthalmological disorders and refraction errors. In every Mega Eye Camp, more than 1400 Cataract surgeries are performed.
The department of Nephrology runs a Dialysis centre with latest haemodialysis machines, which provides Dialysis services round the clock, at a very low cost to the needy people.
The Laboratory and other Diagnostic services including Blood Bank are available round the clock with almost all modern equipments.
The Casualty, ICU, ICCU are functioning round the clock with all the life saving measures like Centralised Oxygen supply, Centralised Suction, Multi parameter Monitors, Ventilators,Defibrillators, etc,.
All Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical departments are fully equipped and maintaining the standards as per MCI and University norms.
The Institute is affiliated to TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and all the academic activities are carried out as per the curriculum issued by MCI and the University.
The Founder and Chairman of Loordhu Ammal Educational Trust, Dr. S. Peter is known for his yeoman service in the field of the education since 1997. Dr. S. Peter had a deep rooted desire to elevate the standard of living condition of people especially those hailing from rural setup through education. This desire gradually grew into passion which motivated him to establish educational institutions.
Dr. S. Peter is also the Founder and Chairman of Soosaiya Peter Educational Trust, a Christian Minority Trust which is named after his father late Mr. Soosaiya Pillai. Madha Medical College & Hospital is already under process and will start functioning very shortly. The Founder and Chairman of the above Charitable Trusts, Dr. S. Peter has provided scholarships and fee relaxation to the deserving and needy students. He shows immense interest towards educating the girl child and it is obvious by the way of preference extended to the girl candidates in his institutions. Dr. S. Peter, hailing from Tirumayam, Pudukkottai District, settled in Chennai, yet operates a few business at his native. Dr. S. Peter is well recognized by the people across the nation for his remarkable service in the field of the education for more than a decade which earned him great appreciation from the mass and fetched him the prestigious award, Mother Teresa Excellence Award in 2005.

Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Ltd. is proposing to start a medical college in the name and style of KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research from the academic year 2019-20 with an annual intake is 150 students in MBBS degree course.
The medical college is located at 99, Avanashi Road, Coimbatore. It has direct access from the Avanashi Road - National Highway 544 and is very near to the Coimbatore International Airport.
The Academic block of the KMCH Institute of Health Sciences houses the Dean’s Office, Lecture Theatres, Library, and the Pre and Para clinical Departments. The institute has a separate Medical College Hospital. The hospital provides outpatient and inpatient services in all specialties including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, TB and Respiratory Diseases, General surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Dentistry.
The institute is also constructing a new state of the art 650 bed hospital facility which will be housing the future expansions of the project.
The proposed KMCH institute of Health Sciences has got approval from the State Government. The Essentiality Certificate (Ref No. (4D) No.5/McA-2/2018. dated 16.05.2018) has been issued by the Health and Family welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University has issued the Consent of Affiliation (Ref No.:Affln.III (3)/13226i2018 dated 29.06.2018) of the college under The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai.
The college awaits the Letter of Permission approval from the Government of India and the Medical Council of India for the admission of 150 students in MBBS from the academic year 2019-20.
Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust was founded in 1993 by Thiru S. Regupathy, B.Sc.B.L, Former minister of state, Government of India.
Its maiden venture was the establishment of J J College of Arts and Science, Pudukkottai in 1994. He has renovated and consecrated more than 300 Shiva temples that are mainly in villages with old granite structures and is maintaining daily poojas in those temples. He has also been instrumental in incepting the Panniru Thirumurai Aaivu Mayyam which is involved in Research of Ancient Tamil Saivism Literature like Thevaram, Thiruvasagam & Saiva Siddantham and spreading Saivism by conducting conferences and seminars once in 2 months. His Tamil Chairty wing has undertaken the million rupee five year project to identify, sum up and list the total number of words available in Tamil language from the Imperial Age till date.
Dr.R.Vasanthakumar's noteworthy contributions have been rightly commended through several titles and recognitions. An Honorary Doctorate conferred on him by the Avinashilingam University in 2004 stands testimony to his role as an exemplary academician and an extraordinary philanthropist. NIA Institutions, Pollachi has awarded the title "Kongu Nattu Sathanaiyalar" on the occasion of the 51st Founder's day of Shri. Nachimuthu Gounder. He has served as President, COSIEMA (Coimbatore Sidco Industrial Estate Management Association) during 1998-2000 and Tamil Nadu Private College Management Association (Coimbatore Chapter) 2000-2002. He is also the President of ENFUSE (Energy & Fuel User's Association), Coimbatore Chapter and RENOVATION Committees of various SHIVA Temples. He is the Governing Council Member of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College, Sri Dhandayuthapani Polytechnic College and Thavathiru Santhalinga Adigalar Tamil College.
