The Shree Chanakya Education Society (SCES) was established in February 1994, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Tarita Shankar, with the aim of providing top quality post-graduate education in the fields of Business Management, International Business and Information Technology. Symbiosis is a family of 44 academic institutions, imparting quality education for over 40 years. B.K. Birla College NCC Units have bagged the Vice Chancellor`s banner for 12 times out of 18 for being best NCC Units of University of Mumbai. Almost every year our cadets participate in Republic Day Camp, Thal Sainik Camp and All India Nausainik Camp.
In 2016 - 17, B.K. Birla College students were awarded 1st Prize for Best Team overall performance and 1st Prize for Best Presentation at the XXIV International Economics Convention, a research based competition. During 2017 - 18, our students have received award for Best Research Paper at XXV International Economics Convention.
For two consecutive years, i.e. 2016 - 17 and 2017 - 18, our Boys and Girls of Yoga team have stood First in the Inter Collegiate Yoga competition conducted by University of Mumbai and won 12 out of 12 Gold Medals.
