Khaja Banda Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences Gulbarga (KBNIMS) was established in the year 2000 under the aegis of Khaja Education Society Gulbarga. Janab Syed Shah Mohammad Hussaini the founder of the Khaja Education Society had a dream to have a medical college for the minority community which was in a dire need to have such a facility. The dream was realized by his son Janab Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini. The medical college was got sanctioned as a minority institution.
