C. U. Shah Medical College is by now nearly 18 years old with established UG and PG courses. The college started in the year 2000 and was recognized by MCI for UG in 2005. Since, then it has progressed by leaps and bounds. P.G. Courses are being run in almost all subjects with more in the offing, in near future.
The campus. “C.U. SHAH AROGYADHAM” is fast transforming itself into an educational hub with UG & PG courses in Physiotherapy, Course of Bachelor in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology and Proposed C.U. Shah Nursing College and many more.
The whole credit for envisaging and executing this enormous philanthropic activity goes to Late Sri C. U. Shah Sahib whose contributions, financially and otherwise, in developing many Institutions all over India are well known. He left us for his heavenly abode in January 2013 but his spiritual presence guides us through.
The new Multistory Hospital Complex incorporating Cardiology & Cardiothorasic Surgery departments, along with others, providing full facilities with Cathlab, ICCU, Surgical facilities etc is a new mile stone achieved, in the birth centenary year of the Founder Shri C. U. Shah. This facility was inaugurated on 13-5-2018 by Hon Chief Minister and Hon, Deputy Chief Minister.

Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) was established in 2012. It is situated in the heart of the Raipur City. With the global mission of “Health for All”, RIMS is delivering healthcare facilities and medical education, which is within the reach of each and every citizen. RIMS is managed by the Lord Buddha Education Society. The MBBS course offered by RIMS is affiliated to the Ayush and Health Sciences University, Raipur. The Government of Chhattisgarh issued the Essentiality Certificate (bearing Sl. No. 17-36/2010/IX/55) to open a hospital and medical college to the Lord Buddha Education Society on 14th July 2010.

Sri Siddhartha Medical College and Sri Siddhartha Dental College have been functioning as constituent colleges of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education since 01/06/2008.
Further as per Govt. of India notification vide No. F.9-31/2006-U.3(A) Dtd. 16/12/2008, the UGC in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, included Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Maralur, Tumkur, as an off-campus constituent teaching unit of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Tumkur with effect from 06/03/2009.

The extreme shortage of medical facilities in the region, promoted the KLE Society to establish the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Belgaum in 1963. The J N Medical College, Belgaum, stands testimony to the high professional standards aimed for and achieved by the KLE Society. Under the able guidance and mature insight of the Founder Dean, Late Dr. B.S.Jirge, the foundation of the present academic vastness was laid. Eminent medical educationist, late Dr.B.S. The sponsoring society started its Medical College in 1989. This college was initially affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur and later on affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, on the recommendation of University Grants Commission under Section 3 of UGC Act of 1956, vide its Notification No. F.9-26/2004-U-3 dated 1st September 2005, has accorded the Deemed to be University status to D. Y. Patil Education Society consisting of D.Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur.

In order to undertake frontier level research in the field of medical science, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research was established in the University. There are collaborative faculty members and research scholars working under difference projects sanctioned by DST, DRDO, CSIR, New Delhi and BRNS, Mumbai. The Centre offers interdisciplinary science research programmes leading to medical research and the Ph.D. awards. To fill up the gap between undergraduate and Ph.D. programme, the University is conducting two Post Graduate programmes; namely M.Sc. Medical Physics and M.Sc. Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine. In order to supplement these research activities, the Centre organizes national and international conferences and workshops since its establishment.
For nearly five decades, the Bapuji Educational Association (BEA) has been continuously working towards transforming Davangere, in State of Karnataka into a major centre for education.
