Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was established on 2008. The Hospital attached to the College is being run from the year 1986, providing health care services to the surrounding villages for more than 30 years. People belonging to the poor socio economic group of the nearby 750 villages including agricultural labourers are getting various health care services from our Hospital.
The Institute is situated in Melmaruvathur near National Highway (NH-45), about 92 km from Chennai and about 70 km before Pondicherry. The department of Nephrology runs a Dialysis centre with latest haemodialysis machines, which provides Dialysis services round the clock, at a very low cost to the needy people.
The Laboratory and other Diagnostic services including Blood Bank are available round the clock with almost all modern equipments.
The Casualty, ICU, ICCU are functioning round the clock with all the life saving measures like Centralised Oxygen supply, Centralised Suction, Multi parameter Monitors, Ventilators,Defibrillators, etc,.
All Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical departments are fully equipped and maintaining the standards as per MCI and University norms.
The Institute is affiliated to TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and all the academic activities are carried out as per the curriculum issued by MCI and the University.

Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Ltd. is proposing to start a medical college in the name and style of KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research from the academic year 2019-20 with an annual intake is 150 students in MBBS degree course.
The medical college is located at 99, Avanashi Road, Coimbatore. It has direct access from the Avanashi Road - National Highway 544 and is very near to the Coimbatore International Airport.
The Academic block of the KMCH Institute of Health Sciences houses the Dean’s Office, Lecture Theatres, Library, and the Pre and Para clinical Departments. The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University has issued the Consent of Affiliation (Ref No.:Affln.III (3)/13226i2018 dated 29.06.2018) of the college under The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai.
The college awaits the Letter of Permission approval from the Government of India and the Medical Council of India for the admission of 150 students in MBBS from the academic year 2019-20.

He has served as President, COSIEMA (Coimbatore Sidco Industrial Estate Management Association) during 1998-2000 and Tamil Nadu Private College Management Association (Coimbatore Chapter) 2000-2002.
